This Listing is for a Super Unique Case Classic/Bulldog Brand Burlwood acrylic Case Classic 5 Blade Sowbelly. The master Clip blade is stamped with the "Bulldog Brand 2 Dogs logo and Hand Made" and features the pinned on Case Oval Shield. This 5 Blade Sowbelly is 3 3/4" closed and the rear side of the master Clip blade is pattern stamped with Bulldog Brand Oil Hardened Made In USA. The rear side of this blade is also marked with "Prototype". This Knife,VERY POSSIBLY is ONE of a KIND Case Classic. The reason for this blade stamp variation is actually very simple. Blue Grass Cutlery produced the Case Classics as many of you know, and Blue Grass Cutlery also made some Bulldog Brand Sowbelly knives in the U.S. as well. The master Clip blade tooling is exactly the same, and this blade was obviously accidentally assembled into the frame. The Sheepfoot and small Clip blades are both tang stamped with W.R. Case & Sons Bradford, PA. The Spey and Pen blades are both tang stamped with an encircled Case XX Tested. All 5 blades are tang stamped, a mark of quality. The blades are produced with carbon cutlery steel with mirror polishing. This 1990's issue Case Classic/Bulldog Brand Burlwood Prototype 5 Blade Sowbelly is mint in the crisp condition Case Tested XX Case Classic box with Letter of Authenticity..........Please click the Larger Picture
