This is a 1993 issue produced in a quantity of only 100 pieces, Case Classic 63083 Split Backspring Whittler pattern for auction. This knife is 3 1/2" closed and features the pinned on Case Bowtie shield and the Banana Jigged Antique Redbone scales. This 63083 features the tang stamp reading Case Brothers Bradford, PA 19 USA 93. The rear side of the master Clip blade is pattern stamped with Tested XX 63083. The small Clip and small Spear blades are both tang stamped with Case Bros. Tested Bradford, PA. Please see the Supersize Photos. The master Clip blade features the deepstruck twice tested symbol of quality Case is known for, the trademarked "XX". The current book value in the Case Classic Value Guide for this 1 Of 100 produced 63083 is $500.00. This 1993 issue Case Brothers Antique Redbone Split Backspring Whittler is in the original issue Case Classic box with Certificate of Authenticity and being offered at No Reserve.
