The Book, Case Classics "BEST FOR THE LONG HAUL" and the C.O.A. (includes) says this is a 250 quantity knife, yet the known fact is that many Candy Stripes were returned to the factory and never replaced due to problems with the celluloid handles. The handles on this knife are tight, secure and the way they were meant to be. So, at the very least it's a 1 of 250 low production run and knowingly to all that collect Classics that it's much lower than that! Pattern #: 73083 Closed: 3 1/2" Handles: Celluloid Tang: W.R. case & Sons, Bradford, PA, 19USA93 Shield: Oval Blade(s): Mirrored Carbon Steel with W.R. Case & Sons blade etch Hardware: Nickel-Silver Bolster. Brass Pins & Liner. Condition: Mint, never sharpened or carried. Includes: Knife, Box and C.O.A.
