This is a 1998 issue discontinued Case Copperlock featuring the fine Case Chestnut Bone scales. This knife was produced by W.R. Case & Sons in 1998 and stamped on the Clip blade with Case XX USA with 2 Dots, dating this as a Case 1998 issue knife. I really never understood why Case discontinued this handle material as it is one of the nicer looking bone varieties to hit the market in the last 20 years. Please see the Supersize Photos. This knife features the long discontinued Case-XX oval style shield and is 4 1/4" closed. The front tang of the blade is pattern stamped with 61549 L SS. This Case 1998 issue Chestnut Bone Copperlock is in mint condition with the Case factory brochure and in the original issue Case factory box (the Case item number is #00132) and being offered at No Reserve.
