Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine Case knives for auction. We just acquired a great group of discontinued Case knives, a great find. This knife for auction is an outstanding find, a 1990 issue Case Rogersbone Damascus Steel Senators Knife, ROG62042 D, 2 7/8" closed. This knife is tang stamped on the master Spear blade with Case XX Bradford, PA 19 USA 90, dating this as a 1990 issue Case knife. Please see the Supersize Photos. The shield style is the long discontinued for Case natural handle knives, the enclosed Case oval style. The pattern in the Genuine Damascus Steel blades have good distinctive layered pattern. The Spear blade has a spot near the nail pull, this knife has never been used or carried and was taken from a collection we acquired featuring several Case Damascus knives. This knife features the Case Date Stamping, a method of dating Case used in only a 4 year period from 1990-1993, w the date was actually stamped on the blade. This 1989 issue Case ROG 62042 D Rogersbone Damascus Senators Knife is pattern stamped on the rear tang of the small Spear blade with ROG62042 D; the "ROG" in the pattern stamp denotes the Case Rogersbone scales. This Case 512 layer Genuine Damascus Steel Senators Knife is in mint condition in an early 1990's Case red and silver factory box and being offered at No Reserve.
