Only 350 of the historical Case Family Brands Encyclopedia Sets were produced by W.R.Case & Sons Cutlery Co. The Encyclopedia Set knives are some of the most beautiful pocket knives ever produced. The only way to own a single knife from this set is to find someone who is willing to break up a set, as we have. The sets are not only rare, but very expensive. The prices range from $6,000 to $8,000 for a complete set of 58 knives. All the knives in the original set were shipped together in one Encyclopedia book box.The knife in this auction is from one of those rare sets; therefore, it has no individual box.
