It is the Red Appaloosa Copperhead that measures 3 7/8" closed...The nickle silver bolsters are bright and shiny and this knife was the forerunner of the most collected Case pattern the Copperlock... The front bolster is what they call a "C" bolster and that is the same bolster that the Copperlock pattern uses... This knife has the smooth Red Appaloosa bone handles and they are chip and crack free... The main clip blade has the Appaloosa blade etch and also has the Appaloosa horse runing and above him is the famous "XX"... The shield is the now discontinued Limited Edition Saturn shield and was brought back into production only for these knives... Has the XX in the middle of that and is also encircled... Comes in it's original box and the Case item # 081181 and date of manufacture was 01/02/08... The date of manufacture is 2008 but the front tang stamp on the clip blade has three X's which date it as a 2007... So technically this is actually a transistion knife because of the two dates...
