This knife for auction is a super rare 2006 Special Factory Order Case "Rattlesnake" 6318 3 Blade Stock Knife, 3 5/8" closed, featuring Case's Smoothbone (cattle bone) scales with the "Rattlesnake" lasering. This Case "Rattlesnake" 6318 has the Case Tru Sharp Surgical Steel blades and nickel silver bolsters, along with the special order Case "Rattler" oval style shield. This knife was produced exclusively for a Case retailer in a quantity of 500 pieces in 2006 and includes the Case XX "Rattlesnake" tin, which is autographed in silver by Brian Wilhoite, the artist responsible for designing the "Rattlesnake" concept for the Special Factory Order "Rattlesnake" family of Case knives. The master Clip blade is stamped with Case XX with 4 X's, dating this as a 2006 issue Case knife, and pattern stamped on the rear tang of the Sheepfoot blade with USA 6318 SS.
