CASE (serifs) WWII Utility/Fighting Knife Type Carried often by Pilots Brand|CASE[Tang Stamp] & Description:[CASE (serifs) XX Period] 9-1/4" OA 5" Blade, Leather Washer Handle With Nickel Silver Pommel & Brass Guard.Large Fullered Deep Bellied Blade.In Ambidextrous Sheath.Which may or may not be Original & Has No Discernable Markings.The knife fits Snugly & Makes for a Sleek & Streamlined Package Well suited for Close Carry Which Would Certainly be a Plus If sitting In The Cockpit of a Plane.I would also Imagine It was made from the Early War Years on, For the Duration..Information Is rather sketchy On It.The Only Source I could Locate was Mr.Silveys Book (Date & Publisher Unknown) Pg.91 & I Don't Have a Copy.It is Apparently listed as:"Five inch Fighting/utility knife bright w/fuller".Might be good to take a look,if possible.Two other notations.The Sheath is Sewn & Also has Five Blued Rivits,Also The Leather Washer Handle has Brass,Red & Black Spacers above The Guard & below The pommel.Nice Military Piece. . Condition| Really Nice Used Condition & does have evidence of sharpeningPayment|..
