We just bought a group of fine Case Genuine Stag knives. This knife for auction is one of the 1980 issue knives which was one of 3 knives in the Case 75th Anniversary Genuine Stag Canoe Set. This knife is 3 5/8" closed and is a 3 Blade 53131 SSP Genuine Stag Case Canoe. This set honors the heritage of W.R. Case & Sons as the 2 color deep etch on the master Spear blade features the now closed Case Foster Brook Plant. The etch reads "75th Year 1929 Foster Brook" and shows a scene of the old Case Foster Brook Plant. Please see the Supersize Photos. The master Spear blade is tang stamped with Case XX SS USA and 10 Dots, dating this as a 1980 issue Case knife. The rear tang of the Spey blade is pattern stamped with 53131 SSP. The brass bolsters feature detailed Factory Engraving as well. This knife for auction is serial number 4068 and the Genuine Stag scales are super looking. The entire set this knife came from books for $600.00 and this is 1 of the knives from the set which are very difficult to find individually. This Case 1980 Genuine Stag 53131 SSP 3 Blade Foster Brook Canoe is in mint condition (I'll provide a box to the winning bidder for safe storage) and being offered at No Reserve.
