This knife for auction is one of the fine 1989 issue Case Centennial Collection knives, produced especially for Case's 100th Year Celebration in 1989. We just bought a collection containing many Case Centennial Knives, and mint in the original older style Case factory boxes. Be watching for these GREAT Case Centennial pieces. This knife for auction is an incredibly fine Case Centennial Stag Trapper, 4 1/8" closed, with a gorgous pair of Genuine Stag (deer stag) scales. The master Clip blade is etched with Case XX Tested Centennial 1889-1989 and stamped with Case XX 1889 1989, with the front tang of the Spey blade being pattern stamped with 5254 SS. The blades have very good "walk and talk" snap.The shield is the special encircled Case Centennial Shield; this shield was used exclusively for the Case Centennial Collection knives in 1989.
