Originally in the description I had this as a 5 1/2 inch knife. That was a typo it is 5 1/4 inches just like it is supposed to be! Somebody make me a good offer and you can have this RARE piece of cutlery history!!!!! The sooner you make the offer the better deal you will get!!!!!! Thus baby books for $1,800.00 and you may never see another!!!!!!! You are bidding on the RAREST of the RARE Case Tested pre 1940 pocket knives. This baby has the most beautiful handles I have ever seen and how rare is second cut stag???? RARE This is a Case Tested 2 blade folding hunter with beautiful second cut stag worm groove jigged handles. It does not have a pattern number stamped on it but if it did it would be 5265. I have another just like it that is a 1940/64 and they just light up a collection. You will probably never see another one of these again especially in tis fantastic condition and especially one that hasnt been messed with. This could definitely be the center piece for just about any collection. Man it looks so good sitting in my display case, I cant hardly bare to let it go but it is just because I need the money! I sent some pictures over to Bernard Levine and he definitely liked it. WOOOOOOOOW 60+ year old second cut stag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This knife is nice and tight with great snap. The second cut stag is gorgeus with no chips or cracks at all. The blades have seen t share of use but still look fantastic. The bolsters have a few little pepper spots on just one but the rest are near perfect. T is no pitting on the blades just use and sharpening. The stamp is Case Tested XX and is clear as the day it was made. This 2 blade folding hunter measures 5 1/4 inches closed. Just imagine what this baby will look like if one of you pros out t cleans it up!!!!!! The inside is overall pretty clean, The back spring has a couple black spots but still pretty shiny. The blades are still desently full and look good but have usage scratches but not really any bad pitting. Hit the buy it now for free shipping upgrade or make me an offer I cant refuse!!! The shipping upgrade means you pay for simple first class shipping and I will ship via priority mail with insurance at my cost! If you do not use the buy it now option then insurance is optional but if it is not purchased I cannot be responsible for anything that occurs during shipment.Allthough this knife is a once in a lifetime collectors piece, it is not mint so please view the photos, read description and ask questions before bidding or buying.
