Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some of the great 1989 issue Case Centennial Collection knives for auction. Personal checks, money orders, and Pay Pal gladly accepted. TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. Winning bidder pays $5.00 for USPS Priority Mail Shipping with Delivery Confirmation included in the Shipping price. Thanks. This knife for auction is one of the super rare Case 1989 issue Centennial Collection knives, produced as a part of the Case Centennial Collection Serial Numbered Set in a quantity of 500 pieces total. W.R. Case & Sons issued the Centennial Collection Mint Set in 1989 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Case name in the world of cutlery. T were a total of 100 knives in the set with the knives being produced with either Genuine Stag, Redbone, or Goldflake scales. Folks the only way to get one of these knives individually is to find one out of a set that is being broken up and that's what I'm doing. T were a total of only 500 sets produced and each knife for auction out of this series also features the Case Long Tail C Serial Number. We acquired the Case Centennial Collection Set, set #239 out of 500 total sets produced. This knife for auction is a fine discontinued Case pattern, the Case Redbone 2 Blade Toadsticker Trapper, R6251 SS, 5 1/4" closed. The etching on the Clip blade reads Case XX Tested Centennial 1889-1989 and the front tang of the Spey blade is pattern stamped with R6251 SS; this is a really specific pattern stamp as the "R" designates the Case Redbone scales. The shield is the special encircled Case Centennial Shield; this shield was used exclusively for the Case Centennial collection knives in 1989. Please see the Supersize Photos. The blades are produced with Case Tru Sharp Surgical Cutlery Steel. Additionally, the winning bidder will receive a copy of the Certificate Of Authenticity which was issued with the 1989 Case Centennial Mint Set.This fine 1989 Case Centennial issue R6251 2 Blade Redbone Toadsticker Trapper is in mint condition with a copy of the Certificate Of Authenticity and the Case factory brochure (we'll provide a box for safe storage to the winning bidder as these originally didn't come in a box) and being offered at No Reserve. Thanks for your bids, we appreciate it.
