We have for auction a beautiful NOS (New old Stock) Factory Original Case XX 5254 SSP Trapper Pattern Folding Blade Genuine Stag handle razor edge Pocket Knife. This beautiful Case XX hunting knife was manufactured in 1976 (Our nations Bicentennial Year) by the Case Cutlery Company, Bradford, PA and is in very nice all original condition. We know it is a 1976 because it has 4 dots included below the tang stamp. The Blades are constructed of Stainless Steel , The Clip Style main blade measures 3 1/2" and has the "Case XX Razor Edge" etch and the secondary Spay style blade also measures 3 1/2" long, and it measures 4 1/8" inches over all closed. Nickel Silver bolsters and liners and a wonderful Genuine Stag Handles. The knife is very attractive, and very well constructed. But what else would anyone expect from a Case knife made during the 1970's? The blade stamping "CASE XX Stainless U.S.A. with four dots" is excellent, and dates the knife to 1976. This knife is in as new all original condition. This knife as well as others we'll be listing came directly from a Case dealers showcase from the inventory drawers and had been resting there since the mid 1970's. This is just one of many we'll be listing! We have tried our best to supply good photos with enlargement capabilities, so please use the enlargement feature and study them closely. It has absolutely nothing to hide. If you could walk into your local hardware store and buy a new 1970's era Case knife today this example would look no different. Absolutely MINT!
