I am selling my personal collection of knives (mostly Case) because of advancing age. I open each knife at $.99 with no reserve, so t is a chance for a real bargain with each of my sales. This auction features a 1998 Case XX USA 61549 L SS 4 1/4 inch long copper lock. This W. R. Case & Sons copperlock is mint. It comes in the correct box and has Case item number 01241. The box date is 08/04/98 This knife was made for the Gator Cutlery Club. It is a serious collectors piece, as is limited to 25 copies. This one has serial number 23. Handles: The handles are smooth cream bone as you can see in the pictures. T are no cracks or chips in them. The front handle says Â"GATOR CUTLERY CLUB 1999 _ 23 of 25Â". Note that the tang date (1998) and the handle date (1999) do not match. Blade: The blade is polished stainless steel with a long pull and a flat grind. The blade opens and closes properly, and has never been sharpened. The back spring locking mechanism is good. Liners: T are two brass liners and 4 pins also of brass. Condition: This rare 1 of 25 collectors club knife is mint in the original box, and displays few if any routine handling marks.
