This pickup truck and pocket knife were created in honor of CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY, often referred to as the mother the cutlery industry in western New York. This was certainly true for the Case Family, for it was at Cattaraugus that they first ventured into the world of pocket knives and cutlery. The Case Brothers only stayed at Cattaraugus a few years befor leaving to start their own company, cutlery was in their blood. Cattaraugus Cutlery remained in business in Little Valley until 1963.

Commemorative ERTL 1940 Ford Pickup Truck.

This pickup truck is a highly detailed, 1/25 scale, die cast ERTL pickup truck painted a dark green with bright yellow fenders. It has an Accent Strip along the bottom of the hood and through the door and a sign attached to the bed rails. The scale model pickup truck has an original Cattaraugus Cutlery logo on both doors and a Case xx Family Brands logo on a panel attached to the bed rails. Completing this ERTL Collectible is a Case xx Pocket Hunter knife with Corn Cob Jigged Burnt Sugar Bone Handles, model TH61165 SS. The knife has the Cattaraugus Cutlery arrowhead shield with 3 C's in it, t he blade is made of Tru-Sharp Surgical Steel. The front bolster has a Case " Long Trail C " with the Set's Offical Serial Number etched on it. This set is serial number 1,489 of the total limited edition set of 2,500 . This set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and the original factory box. The Pickup Truck, Pocket Knife and boxes are all in mint condition.
