BRAND NEW FROM CASE FOR 2007 Case XX Gunstock Smooth Antique Bone Scrolled Engraved Bolsters Diamond XX Inlay Shield Special Factory Order Only 100 Made Manufactured 2007 This is a beautiful knife in MINT condition. Beautiful honey and amber colors make up this atnique Handle. This knife has never been tested or used and the blades have never been sharpened, (Brand New). Item Number 96441. Knife Pattern 6215 SS. 3" closed bolster-to-bolster, (estimated). Nickel Silver Bolsters, brass Liners, and Pins. Knife comes in original box with Warranty Paper. Case & Sons Cutlery Company was created around the turn of the century, during a time when pocketknives were as essential as a watch. Through the years, the company has been recognized as a leader in pioneering new materials and designs in the knife industry.
The company's roots extend back to 1889, when a few enterprising brothers - William Russell (W.R.), Jean, John and Andrew - in the Case family began selling handcrafted knives from the back of a wagon in upstate New York . In January 1900, the brothers incorporated to form the first Case family brand, Case Brothers Cutlery Company. J.R. Case, who named the company after his father, W.R., formed W.R. Case & Sons as it is known today. By the time the company moved to Bradford , PA in 1905, the four Case brothers had established their family brands as the most respected names in American cutlery. Beginning with World War I, the government has called upon Case to make military knives for U.S. servicemen and women. During the 1965 flight of the "Molly Brown," astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young used special Case knives on a NASA space mission. Case has garnered famous admirers and avid collectors such as former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower and country music star Randy Travis. All my knives are inspected by me personally before I mail them to you and my descriptions are accurate. I never drop ship or use a third party shipper unless otherwise noted in my auction. I use several reputable books and magazines to research my knives before listing them. Should you find a discrepancy in one of my listings, after checking these sites out first, let me know and I will correct the listing with the truth. Since t are so many collectors with so much knowledge on knives I am always a sponge for new true data and I will make improvement to my auctions to report the accurate data. Since I am also a collector I sell like I buy so feel safe with me and lets have fun collecting knives.
