HI, This Auction is for a 1977 large two blade Texas Jack pattern pocket knife made by the W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company Bradford,PA.This knife measures just shy of 4" in the closed position and features chip & crack free Genuine Black Bone with highlights of Appaloosa along the edges and the very famous Case logo Nickle & silver oval inlay Shield.This knife has never been used,carried or re-sharpened.The bolsters,pins & liners are all Nickle & Silver,no brass The blades are made of Case's Special formula of HI-Carbon Alloy Cutlery Steel which is known for it's ability to take the keenest edge and hold it and easily re-sharpened.The blades do have new knife opening and closing snap with no side play while at the open position.The tang stamp on the Master blade is Case XX U.S.A. with three dots under the U.S.A. and t is no pattern number on this knife.It is a factory error.I'm sure of this,because after talking to my friend which is a Case dealer the knife came from the factory this way.T is no grind marks on the blade.T really are no flaws to mention,the beautiful pocket knife is in abasolute mint condition.This very collectible pocket knife in my opinion would make a fine addition to any vintage pocket knife collection.The resell value of a Case knife is one of the best since they are the King of the tradders.So it really is read more
