Hi. My name is Robert Vinyard and I am an avid collector of Case knives. My collection grown to the point where I need to sell a few knives and get focused. I have some great ones to sell that I love but that just don't fit. Hopefully you'll have a good home for one of them.This is a 2000 Case 51 pattern Toadsticker, pattern number 6151 SS. It was part of the "21st Century Collection" set, aka "Millennium Set," celebrating the start of a new century. The set consisted of ten knife patterns in five distinct handle materials, and all the knives featured matching Case "long tail C" serial numbers and special shields and tang stamps with the letters "MM" representing the year 2000. Only 500 sets were produced. This knife came from the set with serial number 149.This toadsticker features rich Standard Jigged Chestnut Brown Bone (bovine) handles, nickel silver bolsters and "CASE-MM" shield, brass pins and liners, and a stainless steel clip blade bearing the "long tail C" serial number 149. It carries Case's special "MM" tang stamp with five dots and five Xs indicating the year of manufacture to be 2000. I will include a copy of the 21st Century Collection certificate of authenticity.This knife has never been used, carried or sharpened and is in mint condition.
