This is a 2008 issue Case Exotic Series Patriotic EX2154 SS Tiny Trapper for auction, 2 3/8" closed. This knife was produced in 2008 and is stamped on the master Clip blade with Case XX with 2 X's, dating this as a Case 2008 issue knife. The front tang of the Spey blade is pattern stamped with EX2154 SS; the "EX" in the pattern stamp signifies the Case factory Exotic Patriotic scales.Please note, I DO NOT show just a standardized pdf photo of this knife. (Check out other auctions, you'll see what I mean). The way the Mother Of Pearl "Star" inlay is set into the handle is different from the pdf photos I have seen.Case introduced the first Exotic Series in 2002, choosing a stunning Exotic handle material each year, and releasing 6 patterns per year in quanitities of no more than 500 pieces. These Patriotic Exotic scales feature the Coral, Lapis, Nickel Silver, and Mother Of Pearl made into a stunning Stars and Stripes design. The bolsters and liners are also nickel silver components. This 2008 issue Case Patriotic Exotic Series EX2154 SS Tiny Trapper is in mint condition with the Case factory brochure in the original issue Case factory presentation box along with the original Case factory protective sleeve (the Case factory item number is #06635) and being offered at No Reserve.
