Certification reads: "#5300 "Stag Apache" Hunting Knife The Case Stag Apache Hunting knife is a limited edition issue, sequentially numbered from 0001 to 2,000. Each knife has been hand made by a skilled Case craftsman from the finest materials available. The Case Tru-Sharp surgical steel 5 1/4" blade is concave ground and features a satin glaze finish & a razor sharp polished edge. The blade does not have the normal Apache electro-etching & the pattern number is engraved into the blade rather than stamped. The guard and butt cap are made of solid brass. The genuine stag handle adds an extra touch of beauty to the knife & is made from imported Indian deer antlers.The high quality, genuine leather cordovan sheath has a basket weave design & is specially cured to prevent rusting, pitting & discoloration of the polished steel blade. The original Apache hunting knife was first introduced by Case in 1969 & was discontinued in March, 1981. This limited edition issue will be the last of the Case Apaches. W.R Case 7 Sons Cutlery Co.
