In 1989,under the new leadership of Jim Parker and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of W.R.Case & Sons Cutlery,Case introduced the Case XX Centennial Knives. These knives were produced in Genuine India Stag,Goldstone Celluloid,Red Jigged Bone,and Stainless Steel in many popular patterns.In 1990 a mint set of 100 knives was presented to George Daniel Kingore and Cathleen Kingore of Cutlery World retail store # 408,the winners of the 1990 Spring Challenge Sales Contest.In addition to the standard Centennial etching and tangstamp,each knife is engraved "PROTO" with the famous long tailed "C".We are going to offer these knives individually at auction,of course at no reserve.Dont miss a great opportunity to add a piece of cutlery history to your collection!
