This is a prototype from the Antique Tang Stamp Series produced as a special factory order for SMKW in 2012. It features beautiful Dark Amber Second Cut Stag handles,Tru-Sharp Surgical Steel blades, Nickel Silver bolsters and bomb shield, with Brass pins and liners. Notice that the tangs have the normal Case XX stamping not the 1920-1940 Tested Era stamping that identified the series. The master clip point blade is etched "Pilot Test Run". It is marked "prototype" on the Brass middle liner on the mark side along with the initials of Case artisan, Mike DuBois (see photo # 6) The knife measures 3 1/2" closed and is in mint condition (no box).
