Rare CASED PAIR Solid Silver ENAMEL SALTS & SPOONS 1960 Hallmarked Sterling NR Stunning - Denmark - Superb Condition - 1 1/2 troy oz. This is a lovely rare PAIR of VINTAGE solid sterling silver salts with two solid sterling silver salt spoons that was made in Copenhagen, Denmark in about 1960 by the illustrious Danish silversmith, Egon Lauridsen who operated from 1936 until 1966. Each is in a a delightful circular shape and is raised on a skirt base. Each is 2" in diameter and stands 7/8" high. The sterling silver spoons are 2 3/8" long and 1/2" across their bowls. These salts have stunning yellow ENAMEL decoration to the bowls and to the finials of the spoons. Each salt and spoon weighs 24.8 grams - together a total of well over 1 1/2 troy oz. They are all in excellent condition for their age with less than the usual light surface scratching, NO distortion and NO dings or dents. Unusually, the salts still stand level and seem to have been hardly, used - SUPERB condition. There is NO damage to the enamel. Each salt and spoon is hallmarked with ELA Denmark Sterling 925 showing that they were each hallmarked in Copenhagen after 1955.
