For you bidding consideration I offer this authentic 1939 German Iron Cross second class with LdO award case and ribbon. This EK2 is three part construction with no rust or maker mark, two german silver frames and magnetic iron core, one side has the embossed original institution date 1813 while the other has itâe(tm)s re-institution date 1939. The frames are not seperated at any point. The medal is in overall good condition but t is a little âeoenickâe at the letter âeoe 3âe of the reverse bottom arm (see picture), the case is a post-war production and is made in Germany using the very same materials as were used during WW2 by the LdO administration. The ribbon is original award issue at about 11 1/2 inches and has been tested UV negative or non-glow. Shipping cost by international registered post is $18.50, 7-10 business days delivery.
