Ooooooohhhhhhh! Very creepy! Poor Casper the Friendly Ghost is caught walking around in the mists of Doom all by himself! Maybe he's out on the moor at night looking for the footprints of a gigantic hound . . . . Oops! Wrong fictional character. Sorry! To the best of my knowledge this terrific full figure image of Casper is from an actual production episode although I couldn't begin to guess which one. The background, sadly, is simply a color xerox of a reasonably appropriately spooky scene. Casper is a heart stopping 5 1/4 " tall by 3 1/4 " wide. He's on a full frame (12 field?) animation cel which has been archivally mounted and framed by S/R Labs in Westlake Village near Los Angeles. Their website can be found at the following link:
The whole image area size is 13" wide by 10 1/4" tall inside the mat edges and outer edge to outer edge of the frame is 24' wide by 20" tall. T is a very particular type of mounting hardware on the back which consists of two plastic plates: one screwed into the frame and one to attach to the wall. The cel is in excellent condition with just a tiny bit of rippling to the cel around the image as one would expect to find on a thirty or forty year old cel. Otherwise, the cel is clear and flat. I purchased Casper directly from S/R Labs in 1996 and had him mounted and framed t in January 1997. He lives behind a less shatter prone piece of plexiglass and the back of the frame is sealed with the S/R Labs official sticker in place near the bottom of the frame. Please note: T will be a $10.00 packaging/handling fee to protect against damage in the event of shipping. The fee will be waived if the buyer is available for local, in person, pickup.
