Cast Iron Match Safe, Alligator/Crocodile, mouth and back open up for match storage and lower part of mouth is rigged for striking your match. "MONON ROUTE" on the Alligator's back and the four cities along the route on his legs -- Louisville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Atlanta. On his head and tail are "Chicago" and "Florida". Excellent collectible Match Safe. Alligator is 8-1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide at his front feet. In Good condition opens and closes good and tight. Nice collectible for all Railroad Fans!
