The main spring is good and will wind up and run the engine. AF 10 is cast on the sides of the cab and there is a 7 cast on both insides of the cab. There are a few small chips in the paint. The American Flyer decal on the left side of the tender is chipped and the right side decal is missing. Replacement decals are available on ebay. I don’t know much about these trains but I think this is one of the earliest engines. This would make a great Christmas gift for a train buff or collector and I have listed it very low BIN so you can get a great deal!
