Amish Couple Man 9" tall; Woman 8" tall Heavy Cast Iron Man is standing with right hand in pocket, left hand has thumb hooked on pocket. He's wearing the typical black vest, hat and pants with a blue shirt. Full beard with no mustache as is their custom. T are multiple spots w the paint is worn or chipped off. Woman is standing with right hand holding a yellow basket. She is wearing a black apron with black bonnet and blue dress. She also has multiple spots w the paint is worn or chipped off. Both show signs of surface rust. Selling in "as is" condition. Considering they are quite old, I feel their condition is fair to good. T are no makers marks or stamps on either, unless it's under the felt that was applied to the base. These are exceptionally unique figurines and part of the estate of a local resident. She collected many old and unique antiques over the years and could tell you the history of each. Unfortunately I don't know the story behind these, w or when she purchased them for her collection.
