Description Hello, this is Tim in Florida who has been collecting banks for almost 46 yearsâe"I am 54 and started when my grandfather gave me a few he had from his childhood hence I have been doing this a while. Also please do not confuse me with the other gentleman from Colorado who does an excellent job selling banks in this medium as for the purpose of brevity, I have adopted his format. Note all these banks are coming out of my collection as how many more banks can one have!!! T ARE 15 ITEMS UP FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION. These banks range in age from 1880âe(tm)s to the 1920's. I have banks manufactured by all the major manufacturers and some odd-ball banks which I will call from regional thrifts or saving institutions. Most of these banks are cast iron banks, but some are chrome or nickel plated stamped metal. No reserve and starting at $.99 because I feel the quality the items will speak for themselves and get a fair price. As for description, I have done the best I can as I have reference books from Don Cranmer (1970âe(tm)s), Warman (1975) and Freeman (1960) and unfortunately I cannot find my Whitting or Moore Penny Book.
