This darling little coffee grinder, standing under 12 inches with wheels just a bit over 7 1/2 inch in diameter, displays beautifully but was attacked by one of the world's tasteless compulsives that feels the need to turn everything into a lamp. I honestly don't think t's an antique item that's escaped their hands, and sadly they seem to tackle the nicest examples. In my research, I found this size grinder called the Enterprise Baby --- apparently a model that is getting tougher to find. In any case, this little guy is offered for display or for restoration. On the positive side, the grinder maintains it's original parts --- little cast iron drawer and handle. It also seems to have remnants of original paint or decals, though someone's attempted to embellish the lid with squiggles and it's been largely overpainted. On the down side, I believe his innards may have sustained some damage, t is a piece broken in the 'spoke' on one wheel, a large screw replaces the little key-shaped pin that normally goes through the wheel on one side, and a hole has been drilled in the lid. Although I intended to use a porcelain knob as a finial (in the lid), and replace the clutzy screw --- it hasn't happened, so it's probably time to turn this little mill over to someone who is handier and more knowledgeable than I. If I've missed any information, please don't hesitate to e-mail. To the people who've written (sorry, having difficulty with "reply", I don't have a reserve, but I also have not set a "buy it now" price for the coffee mill. Thanks for your interest. Given the number of inquiries about shipping, I thought I'd add enough information that you can calculate on your own. The coffee grinder weighs 13 1/2 lbs, so packaged weight should be about 14 1/2 pounds. It will be mailed/shipped from PA zip code 17003. I won't add any packaging fees, but please consider the dimensions if you look up rates.
