The Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster Pennsylvania, founded 1894, was primarily known for its toys also produced a line of metal art goods. Hubley had a distinct understanding for quality of design and finish. And art is exactly what their craftsman produced. A real Frenchie from the bat ears, smashed face and clown like expression. In the 1920's and 1930s No. 304 The French Bull Dog doorstop was produced for the Hubley Art Line. A good model of a popular dog. This dog is in good condition and would be a treasure to any collection. Please refer to photos to satisfy its condition. Single slot screw holds two halves together. Seams line up and tight. Size is 8" x 7" No repairs, breaks.
