Beautiful Pontalba Design Cast Iron. Very Detailed and Ornate. Double Faced (design on both sides). This design was commissioned in 1848 for the Pontalba Building, a cornerstone landmark in the New Orleans French Quarter, and have been replicated for years due to their beauty and versatility. So many things you can do with these, kitchen island brackets, mantel brackets, shelf brackets, arbor brackets, ceiling and post braces, arbor braces, or gate crown top. Measures 15 1/2" high x 15 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick. Weighs 8 pounds each,(comes as a pair). Comes unpainted in its original condition, ready to paint or not. They do not come with pre-drilled holes for mounting, but we will be happy to do it for you, just let me know after you have placed your order. Hardware not included. Thanks for Looking!
