Early ~ All solid cast iron toy cannon is 15-inches long and weighs in at 8 pounds before packing. Wheels are 5-inches in diameter by 7/8 of an inch wide. The frame measures 11 -1/2 inches in length, and the barrel is 7-inches with a 1-inch bore. Heavy dual spring operated firing mechanism is fully functional. All parts appear original, except the lower spring beneath the barrel. I'm not sure how this cannon was fired, but I assume the breech was pulled back and hooked to the metal arm which extends from the barrel. Original paint is 90% plus, or minus. No damage present. No visible markings. Sorry, no projectiles are included. A GREAT early cast iron toy and a very interesting WW1 style British Heavy Field Artillery piece!
