We found this small table top, which measures 12 ¼" x 6 ¾" x 1" thick, with no base, and it was being used as a trivet. It dates to the 1920s or possibly early 1930s, and originally had a black wrought iron leg base, which we do not have. We were told the tiles were made by Catalina Pottery of California , but they are sealed in the back with an iron plate, so no way to absolutely confirm this. The tiles themselves are in very good condition, but do have some scuffing (most noticeable on the center black tile), some light crazing, and a small glaze flake to one of the orange tiles. Some grout is also missing from the edges, but t is no looseness of the tiles. It has beautiful colors and a nice Art Deco geometric design. The weight is 8 lbs. and sold with no reserve.
