Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a RARE Burlon Craig and Charles Lisk FOUR color swirl double face jug. I carried this jug to the Hickory show and ask Charles Lisk about the time it wasw made. Charles said it had to be the early ninties and t were very few four color swirl jugs made. The jug is a beauty and a must for the serious collector. Charles Lisk turned the jug and one face is by the master potter, B B Craig, and the other face by the unique Charles Lisk. The jug is approximately 13 inches tall, 5 and 3/4 inches at the base, eight inches at the widest part with double strap handles. Stamped BB Craig, Vale, NC on the bottom and CL at the top above Charlie's face. The colors are blue, green, white and grey. The only flaw is on Burlons face and it is the customary firing separation at the eye which was on many of Burl's jugs. I offered this piece in a live auction, put a reserve on it and it did not sell. I am offering it to the e bay community with no reserve. Although the jug is for sale locally and may be sold before the auction is over. Please e mail any questions and I will be glad to answer. You may come by HOrty's Auction in Fallston, NC to personally inspect this item if you are with in driving distance. Please bid confidently. Shipping: winning bidder and I will arrange shipping and insurance when auction is over. Local pick up is an option. Payment: On this piece, I prefer money order or cashiers check. If you want to use a credit card, please contact me and I will run the card at my store.
