Catlinite Plains Style Traditional TBowl Spirit Pipe Spotted and very LARGE!! Handcrafted MN Pipestone siyo (hello). You are looking at a Catlinite MN Pipestone Traditional TBowl Spirit Pipe. I call them peace pipe in the title only because that is what most people know them as. This pipebowl is somewhat spotted (though the pictures don't really show it well) and has plenty spirit markings. I especially like the way this one came out and hope you do too. It is a very large piece--7" in length and 4" tall with a 1/2" drilled bowl and the standard 3/8" stem entry hole. Catlinite pipestone of MN is sought after the world over as a carving stone of the highest quality. Its beauty, softness, and heat retention qualities make it one of the finest carving stones on earth. Catlinite is reguarded by Native Americans as "the blood of our ancestors" and is considered sacred. This one will hold plenty tobacco and it has such a luster. I mean it really shines. A quick wipe with a soft cloth will briing the shine back every time. This last batch of pipestone I received is especially good. The stone is strong and shines up so well.
