You are looking at an antique Cattaraugus "King of the Woods" S-lock folding hunter (# 12829). This large lock-back folding knife is approximately 5 3/8" closed and 9" locked open. The front side of the tang is stamped "Cattaraugus; Cutlery Co.; Little Valley; N.Y." and the back side of the tang is stamped "12829". The blade lock is marked Patented July 1906. The blade is well used as you can see in the photo's. The lock is loose and the blade travels about 3/8" and has a wobble from left to write. Must have been a favorite knife to be used that long. The jigged bone handles are absolutely great, with no chips or cracks. I am selling this knife as is. So please ask any questions you may have. I am not a collector, so what you see is what you get. A great knife to repair. If you like this item, you may need to check out my other items. I do combine shipping and ship world wide. So take advantage of the combined shipping. OH YEA!!!
