CAUCASIAN WOOL KHANATE KAZAK VEGETABLE DYE RUG 5-4x5-10 5'-4 x5'-10"(162cm x 177cm) NEVER BEEN USED, EXCELLENT CONDITION, DSC04780 Rugcncepts1 is proud to present a very rare, distinct, highly rare, new Facharlo Kazak area rug that was woven in Southwest Caucasus Mountain, around 1980's. However it HAS NEVER BEEN USED and is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION This is an attractive example of a small format of southwest Caucasian rug showing a version of the Kazak rug. Kazak is located in South-west of Caucasus and they are well known for bold designs with clear crisp colors, thick in weave and high in pile with a touch that is both soft and elastic. Present here is carrying all of those attributes. This is a rarely found new example of a Fachralo Kazak area rug. The main medallions are simpler than we normally see in published Fachralo rugs, but unusual design of borders including geometric traditional stars and other motifs and figures, subdued vegetable colors and all had spun wool foundation make this rug different than normal Fachralo area rugs. Antique Kazak rugs are among the most prized and exciting Caucasian village rugs.
