ATTENTION SWIMMERS:
This beach has been closed due to reports of giant squid activity. If you see a giant squid, back away slowly and avoid loud noises. Under no circumstances should you approach a giant squid. Giant squid move quickly, are extremely sneaky, and have been known to grab beach-goers well above the high tide line.
REMEMBER: GIANT SQUID CAN SMELL FEAR
Believe it or not, this is more of a wine glass than a mug in design. The tentacle is the stem of the glass, and the skull is the bowl - ready and waiting to hold aged rums mixed with sweet nectars.
The Caution: Giant Squid mug is a lofty 11 1/2 inches tall and weighs 4 pounds 14 oz. The skull’s interior has been coated with a vivid gloss red glaze. Entirely hand crafted out of glazed high-fire ceramics with porcelain details, this is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, never to be repeated. Stamped and dated by the artist.
IN ADDITION I will send the winning bidder a high-resolution digital image of the “CAUTION: GIANT SQUID” warning sign that I created to accompany the mug (see photo). Print it out and hang it in your Tiki Den/Bar to warn visitors of the dangers of the deep!
PLEASE NOTE: You are bidding on ONE (1) mug. The photo of the vintage Mr. Bali Hai mug is for scale reference only - the vintage mug is NOT included in the auction.
