I have been collecting Arabian Horse items for well over 40 years..NOW DESPERSING many 1000's of my favorite treasures..the barns and attic..and all rooms are full..I collected most of my life..purchasing everything horse related especially Arabian..even if I already had one like it.. .. Hoping to open an Antique shop with just horse antiques..that did not happen..so am listing now..enjoy..

JUST UNPACKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic old circa 1880's engraving ..the detail is sharp and clear..it is of top quality..every hair in the horse mane and dogs coat is visable..the facial expressions are fabulous..it was trimmed and framed in a vintage WOOD frame with beautiful graining.. Image guaranteed over 100 years old.. this piece was done by the same artist (HERRING) as The Pharoah's Horses and other great Arabian pieces.. Overall size is 13 by 10 1/2 inches..NO TEXT on reverse.Fully documented as follows:

The big eyed stallion steps high with pride as he enters the city gates..the victorian ladies say a shy hello to the debonair rider..the bridle and saddle cloth tell of the wealth and statis of this rider..perhaps a prince !! Certainly he rides a fabulous stallion..the dog is a hound and is happy to see his stable mate return..
