This auction is for a !903 US Cavalry 9 pocket cartridge belt made by Mills. The belt has the rimless eagle snaps and is in very solid condition. T are no rips, tears, or repairs and the snaps all work perfectly. T is a faint unit mark on the backside of the belt but no makers mark. The Mills Co. stamped the patent dates on the inside of the brass end of the belt. Obviously, this belt has been used and it shows a little wear and soil from use and storage. A little gentle cleaning, if you are so inclined, could bring it back to almost new condition. These 9 pocket mounted cavalry belts are getting very difficult to find in any condition and this one will make a great addition to anyones military collection.
