An original M1912 Rifle COVER for use with the Model 1912 Cavalry equipments. The M1912 Cavalry equipments used a rifle boot suspended fron the saddle and a leather padded ring on the ammo belt to carry the M1903 Springfield rifle.The Cover was to provide protection to the rifle formerly provided by the long leather scabbard.This Cover is unused and in very good plus condition. It is ink stamped inside the throat "R.I.A. 1918"(Rock Island Arsenal).Photo of Cover in used is from the 1913 issue of the Rasp.Shipping if in the States will be $5.00 Priority.
