Great early 20th century postcard of a setting along the lines of these olderrailroads.Scene depicts the members (human and machine) of the Fort Collins Auto Club on the routes, with a car of the Fort Collins Municipal Railway in the background - adjacent to its own tracks. (Oh, the humanity!) First served by the Colorado Central. The Colorado & Southern took over these routes in 1898. A find for Larimer County/Colorado Central/Colorado & Southern/Fort Collins Municipal Railway/Railroad and Automobile collectors! Fair condition; slight to moderate corner and side wear with moderate corner bends and multiple creases with soiling as well as postal impressions with cutting misalignment and printing anomalies, back slightly fading with moderate ink transfer from another card and soiling as well as stains and smudges. Divided back, posted June 8, 1908 from Greeley, CO to Walton, KS. Image brighter and clearer than scan.
