Carte de Visite album wi th collection of cards Brouncker/Brodrick/Disney & associated families This is a superb collection of Carte de visites. The album begins with cartes of the Honourable Henry Brodrick and his wife Kathleen Henrietta Frances (nee Brouncker). Henry was the son of the 7th Viscount Midleton. Later in the album is a carte of the Viscountess Midleton, who I presume to be his mother. There are various cards of other of the Brouncker family (Agnes Brouncker; Mrs Brouncker and Francis; Barbara Brouncker, Helen Brouncker; Gertrude Brouncker). Barabara Brouncker (of whom there are two cards) was married to Edgar Disney of the Hyde, Essex. There are two cards of The Hyde, Essex. There are also cards labelled Captain Disney, and Ada Disney (pictured with Helen Brouncker). Captain Disney would seem to be the son of Edgar Disney snr, called Edgar John Disney, a J.P. and a Captain. There are many other cards of aristocratic families - Lady Emma Purey Cust and Rev Percival Purey Cust (Dean of York), with signed slips; Rev William Finch; Rev Henry Mairis; Honourable Lady Inglis; General Sir Thomas Holloway, K.C.B; Colonel Mairis, R.E, 1862; Francis Wylde Browne; Arthur Lyon Campbell; Duncombe Pyrke, Esq; Captain Hale, Royal Marines; Mrs Purvis; Mrs Elves; Mrs Hamond; John Bradney, Esq.
