Offered for sale is a civil war CDV of an identified soldier. Signed in period ink on the back: " Watkins Schulaer Co. NY Geo. W. Willover Virginia June 15 '64 No.19" This photo is number 19 in the original album from which it was taken. I also have listed other photos from this album. Records indicate that Willover served in Co. I, 154th NY Infantry which was an extremely hard fighting regiment at Gettysburg. The CDV shows him in full standing view in his vest, frock coat and holding his kepi. He is posed in front of a patriotic backdrop with tents and flag. This is a crisp, clear and sharp image. It has no backmark.

I accept personal checks and money orders but NOT PAY PAL so please keep this in mind when bidding. Buyer will pay for shipping and insurance. I will ship this item anyw in the continental US for $4.00.

I have been corrected by a kind e-bayer who says this soldier served in 141'st NY Infantry
