A Celestion Vintage 30, 12" 8 ohm speaker. I bought this to put on a 212 cab i had made, but then realised i wanted a combo not a head/cab set up so this is essentially a new speaker but sold as used as i had soldered the connections. On ebay for about £75 new so i think £55 is a reasonable selling on price considering it is basically new. Websites say; The Vintage 30 resulted from Celestion’s early steps to preserve the tonal characteristics of vintage speakers while using contemporary materials and construction techniques. Seemingly twice as loud as anything else at the same power level, the Vintage 30 handles massive overdrive sounds with ease. Tight bass, fat mids and a smooth, harmonically rich top end have made the Celestion Vintage 30 an excellent 4 x 12" loudspeake r. Of course, it’s also suitable for any other guitar cab!
