CELESTRON Filter Set, 1.25" For sale is my Celestron filter set. "Celestron colour filters are mounted in black anodized aluminium cells with the Kodak Wratten Series Number individually engraved, and come available in 4 assorted kits packed in plastic cases. The cells of each filter (except the polarizer which must go on the end if used) are double-threaded, so they can be stacked (piggybacked) in various combinations. This allows you to create different colour combinations and transmission characteristics, or to have the same colour characteristic, but with a lower transmission. When stacking colour filters, the effective transmission of the combination you create is equal to the product of the spectral transmission of each of the filters used. Eyepiece filters are an invaluable aid in lunar and planetary observing. They reduce glare and light scattering, increase contrast through selective filtration, increase definition and resolution, reduce irradiation and lessen eye fatigue. Celestron's filters are made of high quality, solid plane parallel glass with excellent homogeneity. They're anti-reflection coated to prevent glaring and ghosting. All eyepiece filters are threaded to fit Celestron's, and most other manufacturer's, 1¼" eyepieces, and offer a full 26mm clear aperture." This kit includes the following filters in the original box: Yellow No 15 Blue 80A Red 21 Polarizer Mint condition, barely used but I am selling my astronomy equipment to fund other photographic pursuits. . This has been stored in a foam case in the filter case since purchase. It will be sent well packaged in the plastic filter case shown Other eyepieces and astronomy equipment is available in my other lots. Some general Questions: Will you accept buy it now or best offer? No this is an auction listing and it is only fair to let it run. Can I collect? Yes but you will need to contact me to agree a convenient time. Just send me a message when you win. I am usually available most evenings, some weekends and some late afternoons. Will you send outside of UK? Sorry, after some previous difficulties I tend to only sell in the UK now. Will you accept returns? I am a private seller and sell on the basis of a good description and the photographs so I typically do not accept returns however get in touch. I will of course be happy to help if the item arrives faulty or damaged. I never accept returns for CDs, DVDs, software etc. to combat piracy. Will you use another courier? Happy to consider but most things I sell are sent to homes and people are not in to take delivery; it is generally quicker for people to pick up the item from the post office if it is not delivered when they are in. When will you post it? Typically the morning of the day after you pay (Mon to Fri), so if you pay on Sunday it will usually be in the post Monday by about 09:30. Sometimes if you are lucky I might be able to get it in the post the same day. Will you combine postage. Yes. If you are bidding on more than one item then wait until they are all finished and then I will issue a single combined invoice with any postage adjustment that I can make. If you are bidding over several days and don't want to wait then pay as you go but I won't be able to discount the postage if I can't put them in one box! When I charge postage I try and charge what it costs me including materials, if I can combine them and reduce the cost I will pass that on to you. However current postage rules are horrible and combining packets can sometimes move them to a different more expensive category. When should I pay? You can settle immediately, but if paying for more than one item I suggest you wait so I can send a combined invoice. The sooner you pay the quicker I send the items Do you always send an invoice.
