Welcome to this auction for a lovely 2 1/8" covered vanity box. It is a long ago souvenir from the Army & Navy Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The lid has a picture of this hospital and under the lid is a mirror. The sides of the box are a marbled plastic with the colors that are in the lid accented t as well. It is in excellent condition with no cracks in the plastic. The inside bottom of the box is velvet lined. Likely a sweetheart received a gift from her beau while he was in this hospital after the war.
