Next up for auction is the Best Selling '80 Arcade Game CENTIPEDE by Atari. It is completely original and has been shopped, thoroughly tested and passed by our route manager. This game is working 100% with a nice cabinet and a monitor with vibrant colors. The cabinet is in great shape. The pictures are of the listed game and actual screen shot. It is ready for home or location. Item comes as shown with usual wear and tear for its age. You are welcome to stop by our shop in Carson , CA to inspect and play the game prior to bidding. This game can be shipped. See "Shipping: Non-Local" below. Game Play Description ( ) This was the first arcade game to be designed by a woman: Dona Bailey. The object of the game is to destroy as many enemies as possible. During every level, you must destroy all the segments of a centipede. Once the centipede enters the bottom area of the screen w the gun moves, the player is in danger of colliding with the centipede. The centipede will break into pieces as its segments are shot. Once it makes it to the bottom of the screen, it heads back up until it reaches the top of the player zone. It then repeats the process. Once the centipede has hit the bottom of the screen, new segments are created that move within the player zone. When a centipede segment hits a mushroom or another segment, it reverses direction.
